In astrology, the horoscope wheel is divided into twelve distinct houses, each representing different areas of life and life experiences that influence an individual's personality, behavior, and circumstances. These houses are essential components of a natal chart, which is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment of a person's birth. Each house corresponds to specific themes and aspects of life, providing insights into how various planetary influences manifest in an individual’s life journey.
The houses of the horoscope wheel are in constant motion as the Earth rotates on its own axis in one 24 hour period of time. The circle in the center of the horoscope wheel represents Earth. and the line connecting the 1st and 7th houses of the wheel represents the horizon. Each morning, when the Sun meets the horizon in the east in your location, a sunrise occurs. When the Sun meets the horizon in the west, about 12 hours later we experience a sunset. Therefore, if you were born at sunrise, the sun would be in a different part of the horoscope wheel if you were born at noon, or midnight.
Each house play a crucial role in shaping an individual's astrological profile. Understanding the house position of each planetary influence provides a more comprehensive understanding of our life experiences. The interplay of planets within these houses allows for a dynamic analysis of how various energies interact, and which ultimately influence each individual's journey through life. 11th House
The eleventh house encompasses friendships, social networks, and aspirations, reflecting the influence of community and collective goals on an individual’s life. This area of the horoscope wheel also represents our professional values and our aspirations for humanity as a whole.
12th House
The twelfth house is linked to higher consciousness and often refers to an elevated state of awareness beyond the normal waking state. This area often represents our spiritual connection and hidden aspects of our life experience, often symbolizing parts of life that are less visible or comprehensible, such as dreams and the inner self.
